Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility. Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including audio logic screening, while observing and recording changes in patient condition. Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and the development of treatment and care plans. Provide instruction to patients and families on alternative communication systems and maintain confidential documentation of evaluations and progress reports. This role involves a pay-per-visit unit rate of $54.00 to $76.00 and requires a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Candidates must hold current ASHA certification and a state license.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Required to be screened for TB
