Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility. Administer diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, then observe, record, and report changes in patient condition to the supervisor and physician. Participate in Plan of Treatment development, care coordination, and discharge planning while providing instruction to patients and families on alternative communication systems. Maintain documentation and submit written reports of evaluations, visits, and progress as required by Company policy. Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct regarding confidential information.
Required Qualifications
- Meet the education and experience requirements for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
