Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in homes or facilities. Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing while administering diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments. Develop, review, and submit Plans of Treatment and Care; prepare written reports, care plans, and progress summaries. Observe and record patient condition changes, provide instruction on alternative communication systems, and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff. Maintain confidential documentation and participate in care coordination and discharge planning. Requires current ASHA certification, unrestricted license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with auto insurance. Pay range $85,400 - $117,500 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening
