Job Summary
Administer speech therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their residences, performing initial evaluations, treatment plans, and skilled procedures under physician orders. Provide a full range of speech language pathology services, consult with physicians regarding treatment changes, and write progress notes, reevaluations, and discharge summaries for each visit. Submit initial evaluations and recertifications to physicians for approval, ensuring all services comply with the plan of care and state licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist by the state where they furnish service
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Reliable transportation
- Valid automobile insurance coverage
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years' experience as a Speech Therapist
- Home Health experience
