Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility. Assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing while administering diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments. Participate in the development and review of treatment plans, observe patient condition changes, and submit documentation including evaluations, care plans, and progress reports. Provide instruction to patients and families on alternative communication systems and counsel healthcare staff. Maintain confidentiality and coordinate care activities and discharge planning. Requires current unrestricted license, six months experience, and valid driver's license. Pay ranges from $85,400 to $117,500 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
