Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in homes and facilities. Administer diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, including audio logic screenings. Participate in developing and reviewing Plans of Treatment and Care. Observe, record, and report patient condition changes to supervisors and physicians. Provide instruction on alternative communication systems and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff. Maintain documentation and submit written evaluations, care plans, and progress reports. Participate in care coordination and discharge planning while adhering to confidentiality standards. Requires current unrestricted license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening
- Maintain personal vehicle liability insurance
- Vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher
