Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in homes or facilities. Administer diagnostic tests and interpret therapeutic treatments for disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Participate in Plan of Treatment development, observe patient responses, and submit written reports including evaluations, visit summaries, and care plans. Provide instruction on alternative communication systems and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff. Maintain confidential documentation and coordinate care activities and discharge planning. Pay range $85,400 - $117,500 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening
