Job Summary
Home Health Speech Language Pathologist-PRN delivers in-home therapy focusing on rehabilitation and functional improvement. Responsibilities include evaluating and providing SLP services in the home or facility, developing and reviewing Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care, assessing and treating disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing, administering diagnostic tests, observing and reporting patient changes, training patients in alternative communication systems, counseling patients and families, and maintaining documentation and care coordination. Requires professional conduct regarding patient confidentiality and participation in TB screening and driver-safety programs as applicable. Licensed SLP with CPR certification and valid driver’s license with transportation are required; home health experience preferred. Pay ranges from $115,300 to $158,600 annually for full-time-equivalent scheduling; actual pay varies by location and experience. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
