Job Summary
Deliver in-home speech-language pathology services. Evaluate, direct and provide speech/language pathology care to patients in the home or facility; participate in development and review of the Plan of Treatment and Plan of Care; assess and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing and swallowing; administer and interpret diagnostic tests; observe and report changes to supervisor/physician; provide instruction on alternative communication systems; counsel patients, families and healthcare staff; maintain documentation and participate in care coordination and discharge planning; maintain professional conduct and patient confidentiality; requires six months of experience, current license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver‘s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
