Job Summary

Evaluate, direct, and provide speech and language pathology services to patients in homes and facilities. Administer diagnostic tests, interpret results, and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Participate in developing and reviewing treatment plans, observe patient responses, and submit detailed documentation including evaluations, care plans, and progress reports. Provide instruction on alternative communication systems and counsel patients, families, and staff. Maintain strict confidentiality and coordinate care and discharge planning. Requires ASHA certification, current license, CPR, and a valid driver's license. Pay ranges from $102,500 to $141,000 annually for 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
  • Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
  • Current and unrestricted license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Auto insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • TB screening
