Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in homes or facilities. Administer diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, including audio logic screening, while assessing disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Participate in developing and reviewing Plans of Treatment and Care, and provide instruction to patients on alternative communication systems. Observe, record, and report patient condition changes to supervisors and physicians, maintaining all required documentation and care plans. Engage in care coordination and discharge planning while adhering to strict confidentiality standards. This role is patient-facing and requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening
