Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in homes and facilities, administering diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments for disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Develop and review Plans of Treatment and Care, observe patient responses, and submit detailed documentation including evaluations, care plans, and progress reports. Provide instruction to patients and families on alternative communication systems while participating in care coordination and discharge planning. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional conduct standards. Requires current unrestricted license, six months experience, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
