Job Summary
Evaluate, direct, and provide speech/language pathology services to patients in the home or facility. Administer diagnostic tests including audio logic screening and observe patient responses to treatment. Develop, review, and maintain Plans of Treatment and Care while documenting evaluations, visits, and progress reports. Provide instruction on alternative communication systems and counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff. Participate in care coordination and discharge planning while adhering to strict confidentiality standards. This role requires a valid license, ASHA certification, and a driver's license. Compensation ranges from $85,400 to $117,500 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA
- Minimum six months experience as a speech therapist / speech language pathologist
- Current and unrestricted license
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening
