Job Summary
Deliver skilled, patient-centered speech therapy to home health patients in the York, PA area, performing comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing functions. Develop individualized treatment plans to support patient safety and independence, while educating caregivers on therapeutic exercises. Think critically to solve real-time problems and ensure thorough, compliant EMR documentation. Work independently within an assigned territory, traveling to patient locations while maintaining a driver's license and spending approximately 20% of your day driving. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide care for geriatric and chronically ill patients. This role offers a $5,000 first-year success bonus and supports career growth through dedicated field education and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist, SLP license in the state you work
- One year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Current driver's license
- Ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
