Job Summary
Evaluate and treat disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing to prevent, identify, and minimize their effects. Administer diagnostic tests, including audio logic screening, and interpret results to inform therapeutic treatment plans. Submit evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries to supervisors and care management staff. Participate in care coordination and discharge planning while providing instruction to patients on alternative communication systems. Offer counsel and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff regarding rehabilitation and functional improvement. Requires an unrestricted NC SLP license, valid driver's license, current CPR certification, and 40 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Valid state driver's license
- Proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
- Undergo TB screening
