Job Summary
Scheduling coordinator for home health: coordinates and schedules patient visits with nurses and clinical staff; maintains and updates clinician schedules to ensure efficient coverage; communicates with patients, families, and clinical staff regarding scheduling needs; assists with managing visit frequency based on physician orders and plan of care; ensures all visits are scheduled in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; works closely with clinical leadership to optimize scheduling efficiency; assists with general administrative and office support duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Minimum 1 Year of Scheduling Experience Required
- Home Health Scheduling Experience Preferred
- Experience Working in a Healthcare Setting Preferred
- Strong Organizational, Communication, and Multitasking Skills
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Proficiency with EMR Systems and Microsoft Office Preferred
