Job Summary
The Home Health Registered Nurse provides in-home patient care across life stages using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities include assessing patients in their home, developing and implementing individualized care plans, educating patients and families on health management, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining schedules and agency policies, and ensuring patient satisfaction. Requires active RN licensure in NC/SC, CPR certification, at least 1 year of RN experience (2+ years total clinical experience), and ability to drive to patient homes. Flexible hours with a focus on compassionate, high-quality home health services and adherence to agency mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or approved school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the State (NC/SC)
- CPR certification required
- One year RN experience and total of 2+ years clinical experience
- Home health experience preferred
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license and operational vehicle
- Ability to transfer and maneuver patients and operate nursing equipment
- English language literacy and communication with patients/families and staff
