Job Summary
RN Preceptor in home health in the Denver area: trains, coaches, and mentors newly hired RNs and LPNs while maintaining a patient-care caseload. Travels within the coverage area to support onboarding, conducts head-to-toe assessments, manages acute/post-acute needs (CHF, COPD, wound care, IV therapy, post-surgical care), performs medication reconciliation, documentation, and wound assessments, and provides field-based clinical support to ensure high-quality home health care for adult and geriatric patients.
Required Qualifications
- Current nursing license in good standing in the state of Colorado
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- At least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience with adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med surg, sub-acute care or rehab units
