Job Summary
Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) in Orlando, FL — full-time position. Assess new patients’ condition, history, and home care needs; build and update care plans with patients and families; administer medications and treatments; educate patients and families on at-home care; coordinate with physicians and community health partners with updates at least every 60 days; plan and carry out discharge when appropriate; arrange equipment or services; check in on home health aide care every two weeks. Requires nursing degree, state licensure, CPR certification, 1–2 years of acute care experience, and valid driver with insured vehicle; preferred bachelor's degree with 1 year of home health experience; strong communication and nursing skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting
- Current licensure in state and CPR certification
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
