Home Health Registered Nurse

Full-time Home Health Registered Nurse in Bingham Farms, MI and surrounding area. Provides services requiring substantial nursing skill per physician-approved plan of treatments, including initial evaluation visits, comprehensive assessments (including OASIS at appropriate times), and ongoing updates to the client’s plan of care. Responsible for initiating diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative procedures, making referrals as indicated, and coordinating the total plan of care with other health professionals. Educates patients and families on home nursing procedures, supervises and counsels caregivers, and ensures accurate documentation and compliance with policies. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and plans for client discharge. Requires RN licensure in the state, an associate degree in nursing, and preferred 1 year of RN experience; driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
