Job Summary
RN Resident participating in the HCA Healthcare Residency Program delivers high quality, patient-centered care while gaining advanced clinical training. The role includes coordinating and delivering nursing care, administering prescribed medications, documenting in the patient record, teaching patients/families about conditions and treatments, and collaborating with the care team. The program features monthly educational sessions, preceptorship with a facility preceptor, simulations, mentoring from nurse leaders, and a structured transition from student nurse to registered nurse.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- No previous experience needed
