Provide direct physical therapy according to the physical therapist's directions and physician's plan of care. Treat patients to relieve pain, restore function, and maintain performance through active and passive therapeutic exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, transfers, and prosthetic training. Instruct patients on the use of wheelchairs, braces, crutches, canes, and orthotic devices while observing and reporting patient reactions and condition changes to the physical therapist and organization personnel.
