Job Summary
Provide direct physical therapy services, treatments, and procedures as directed by the physician's plan of care. Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation progress and educate them on safe use of assistive devices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient well-being and discuss discharge plans. Record clinical progress notes, complete daily reports, and submit credentials in a timely fashion to ensure continuity of care and agency operating schedules. Maintain consistent attendance and comply with ethical standards while observing and reporting patient condition changes to supervisors and physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- Valid CPR
- Compliance with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing
