Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose impairments and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercises, and gait training to improve mobility, strength, and pain management. Assist patients with adaptive techniques and device training to enhance independence in daily activities. Educate patients and families on body mechanics and home exercise programs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries while adhering to HIPAA and Medicare regulations. Requires a current Florida Physical Therapist license, minimum six months of experience, and reliable transportation. Full-time role with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab
