Job Summary
As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), provide physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist and according to the physician’s plan of care. Administer treatments including exercise, electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, ultrasound, massage, and gait and balance training; document patient responses and report outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist. Schedule includes part-time visits (with weekend work required) across Northridge and Woodland Hills areas, with the flexibility for non-traditional hours. Requires CA PTA license, CPR, driver’s license, reliable transportation, and orientation/training in Woodland Hills office. Required Qualifications
- One year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant required
- Current CA Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Reliable Transportation and auto insurance
- Valid California Driver License
- CPR Certification
- Must be able to attend one week of orientation and training
