Job Summary
Provide in-home patient visits under the direction of a Physical Therapist, performing active and passive exercises, gait training, functional activities of daily living (ADL), transfers, safety and prosthetic training. Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment; educate the patient and family on participation and home rehabilitation. Requires current PTA license, CPR/BLS/First Aid certification, valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and willingness to travel; at least one year of PT experience in a home health or similar setting. Working with Interim HealthCare, offering competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and one-on-one patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state associated with this position
- Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification
- Valid state-issued driver's license, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation; willingness to travel
- One (1) year of professional experience practicing as a Physical Therapist (PT) in a home health or similar setting
