Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine rehabilitation needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination while educating patients and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility aids. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with caregivers to support independent living. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling where you can choose preferred coverage areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
