Job Summary
Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions in their homes, developing individualized treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, stretching routines, and hands-on therapy. Conduct regular progress assessments and documentation using Web PT EMR software, while collaborating with patients and caregivers to educate them on assistive device use and enhance self-care. Adapt treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations to optimize mobility and recovery outcomes. This full-time, home-based role in Punta Gorda, Florida, offers a flexible Monday through Friday schedule with an annual salary of $100,000 to $120,000.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- an active Physical Therapist license in Florida
- free from any history of sanctions or board proceedings
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- a successful track record in designing effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in physical therapy
- familiarity with EMR documentation processes
- Strong communication skills
- a passion for working closely with patients to achieve their therapeutic goals
Desired Qualifications
