Job Summary
Conduct in-home physical therapy sessions for patients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions, focusing on balance, strength, range of motion, and home safety assessments. Perform 45-minute visits, typically scheduling 2–3 sessions per patient weekly while managing a caseload of 1 to 7 patients. Utilize user-friendly software to document progress and ensure compliance with California licensure, CPR certification, and physical exam requirements. Work within a 10-mile radius of San Diego, CA, under a contract arrangement with mentorship support from senior therapists.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist license
- Current CPR certification
- Physical exam within the past year
- Negative TB test
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
