Job Summary
Provide direct physical therapy, treatments, and procedures as directed by the physician's plan of care while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding the plan of care, educate them on safe device use and rehabilitation techniques, and report observations of condition changes to supervisors and physicians. Treat clients to relieve pain and restore function, plan for discharge, and complete daily reports and clinical documentation on a timely basis. Maintain consistent attendance and comply with ethical standards. Full-time weekly visits in Montgomery, Stewart, and Dickson counties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- Valid CPR
- Valid Driver's License
