Job Summary
Deliver physical therapy services in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing interventions to restore mobility and improve functional independence. Develop and carry out individualized care plans using evidence-based treatments that promote improved movement, strength, flexibility, and balance while educating patients on their rehabilitation. Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and accurately document all services provided to maintain timely, complete records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and support alternatives to surgery and medication reliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Texas
- Current CPR certification
- Professional liability insurance coverage
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
- Demonstrated clinical experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of current treatment techniques and therapy practices
- Professional and compassionate demeanor when educating and engaging with patients
