Job Summary
Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant delivers in-home physical therapy under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, administering the treatment plan and non-complex manual therapies and modalities to patients in their homes. You will document client records weekly, attend educational meetings, notify about equipment or supplies issues, and apply infection control and universal precautions. Requires a current state PT license, valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, CPR certification, English proficiency, and ability to collaborate with a healthcare team; you should have knowledge of geriatric population changes and perform duties in a patient-facing home health setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population
- Read, write, and speak fluent English
