Job Summary
Provide direct physical therapy services, treatments, and procedures as directed by the physician's plan of care while collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation progress, educate families on safe device use, and report observations of condition changes to supervisors or physicians. Treat clients to relieve pain and restore function, complete daily clinical reports and documentation, and participate in in-service programs. Maintain consistent attendance and comply with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
- Valid CPR
- Compliance with all health-related requirements in all relevant jurisdictions, including required vaccinations and testing
