Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

Administer the physical therapy treatment plan to patients onsite in their homes, including non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities. Document client records and submit clinical documentation to the office weekly while applying infection control and universal precautions. Notify the Physical Therapist or Branch Director of equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff and client changes. Attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services. Requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy, current state license, valid driver's license, and CPR certification. Full-time 40-hour schedule with annual base pay ranging from $64,000 to $87,500.
