Job Summary
Administer physical therapy treatment plans and non-complex active/passive manual exercises, therapeutic massage, and various modalities to patients in their homes. Document client records weekly, coordinate department in-services, and notify supervisors of equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff/client changes. Apply infection control and universal precautions while collaborating with healthcare professionals to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence. Requires a current state license, valid driver's license, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population
- Read, write, and speak fluent English
- TB screening
