Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant

Administer the physical therapy treatment plan to patients onsite in their homes, performing non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities. Document client records and submit clinical documentation to the office weekly. Apply infection control and universal precautions while collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. Notify the Physical Therapist or Branch Director of equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff and client changes. Attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services.
