Job Summary
Administer physical therapy treatment plans to patients in their homes, including non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, and various modalities. Document client records and submit clinical documentation weekly while coordinating department in-services. Apply infection control and universal precautions during patient care activities. Notify the Physical Therapist or Branch Director regarding equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff and client changes. Maintain current state licensure, CPR certification, and valid driver's license with auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population
- Read, write, and speak fluent English
- TB screening eligibility (part of Humana's Tuberculosis screening program)
