Job Summary
Administer the physical therapy treatment plan to patients onsite in their homes, including non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, massage, traction, and various modalities. Document client records and submit clinical documentation to the office weekly. Apply infection control and universal precautions while notifying the Physical Therapist or Branch Director of equipment failures, supply shortages, or staff/client changes. Attend educational meetings and coordinate department in-services. Maintain a valid state license, driver's license, and CPR certification to support care for the geriatric population.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population
- Read, write, and speak fluent English
- TB screening eligibility
