Job Summary
Administer the physical therapy treatment plan to patients in their homes, performing non-complex active and passive manual therapies and modalities. Document clinical records weekly, participate in educational meetings and department in-services, and notify supervisors of equipment or staff changes. Maintain infection control, universal precautions, and coordinate care with the Physical Therapist and Branch Director. Requires state PT license, CPR, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, English fluency, and one year of preferred PTA experience. 40 hours per week with base pay range $64,000–$87,500; TB screening and driver-safety program participation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Valid driver‘s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
- Current CPR certification
- Experience collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals
- Comprehensive knowledge of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the geriatric population
- Read, write, and speak fluent English
