Job Summary
Assess patient mobility, coordination, and strength to establish functional goals while delivering occupational therapy interventions per physician orders. Administer and interpret tests to define treatment plans, documenting progress and modifying goals as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, nurses, and families to coordinate discharge planning and educate caretakers on home exercise programs. Maintain accurate OASIS documentation and ensure compliance with payer requirements to prevent denials. Supervise other personnel including OTAs and HHAs where applicable. Full-time Monday through Friday visits in North Brevard territory with a $10K sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university/program
- Current, unrestricted state license as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice
- Valid CPR
- Full-time visits needed Monday - Friday
- Territory: North Brevard
