The Business Office Manager is responsible for processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely billing of all insurances, and maintaining accurate records and reports. Key responsibilities include managing claims integrity for the agency, verifying patient eligibility for home health services, and resolving billing discrepancies with insurance companies. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, along with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in home health care billing.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in billing or billing management of a home health care company billing Medicare Part A and working with DDE
  • Thorough and working knowledge of Medicare Home Health billing/CMS regulations and requirements
  • Demonstrates an understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and DRG coding regulations and guidelines
  • Understands basic medical terminology
  • Able to use electronic or paper billing
