Job Summary
Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans to restore mobility and enhance functional abilities. Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills while educating patients and families on recovery techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed for homebound clients qualifying for Medicare. Maintain an active Texas Occupational Therapy license and current professional liability insurance. This role supports long-term wellness and independence within the comfort of patients' homes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas
- Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques
- Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings
