Job Summary
Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans for homebound clients qualifying for Medicare. Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills while educating patients and families on recovery techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Provide skilled services focused on restoring mobility, enhancing functional abilities, and supporting long-term wellness within the comfort of patients' homes.
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas
- Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas
- Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques
- Professional, compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings
