Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (Home Health) to provide one-on-one in-home OT evaluations and treatments in the Metro Detroit area. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations and assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing interventions to improve functional independence and daily living skills, educating patients and families on techniques, safety, and home modifications, completing accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to drive positive patient outcomes. Requires Michigan-licensed OT with at least 1 year of experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to work independently in a flexible, contingent schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional standards
