Job Summary
Occupational Therapist (Home Health) providing one-on-one in-home evaluations and therapy across the Metro Detroit area. Responsibilities include conducting OT evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering interventions to improve daily living skills and functional independence, educating patients and families on techniques, safety, and home modifications, completing accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support positive outcomes. Requires Michigan licensure, a bachelor’s degree in OT, and at least 1 year of experience; drivers license and insurance are required; strong communication, organization, and HIPAA compliance are essential. Contingent position with flexible scheduling and competitive pay; weekly pay with direct deposit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Minimum of one (1) year of occupational therapy experience
- Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional standards
