Job Summary
Provide skilled occupational therapy in accordance with the physician's plan of care, accepting only patients referred by the patient care manager. Assist the physician in evaluating the patient's level of functioning through diagnostic procedures and help develop or revise the plan of care while setting appropriate goals. Design orthotics based on the patient's condition and treat patients using therapeutic activities to restore function and promote disease prevention. Observe, record, and report patient reactions and condition changes to the physician or case manager, identifying barriers to desired outcomes. Maintain an active Michigan Occupational Therapy license and possess reliable transportation with valid auto insurance. Visit rates range from $63.00 to $105.00 per visit with mileage reimbursement available.
