Job Summary
Provide therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist, implementing vocational programs to restore function and promote self-sufficiency. Design and adapt equipment for living environments, fabricate devices to improve independence, and instruct patients on home programs and adaptive equipment use. Report observations to clinical supervisors, document patient records, and assist with progress reports and discharge planning. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to support community reintegration and psychological adjustment.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility (required for patient-facing role)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
