Job Summary
Deliver therapy services planned and supervised by the qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes. Assist in implementing vocational programs, design and adapt equipment or living environments, and fabricate devices to improve function. Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients and family members regarding home programs and adaptive equipment use. Report observations to the Occupational Therapist, document clinical notes, and participate in care coordination and discharge planning activities with the interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility (required for patient-facing role)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
