Job Summary
Provide therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence in their homes. Design or adapt equipment and living environments, fabricate assistive devices, and instruct patients and families on home programs and adaptive equipment use. Deliver therapeutic treatment and instruction to improve strength, coordination, and range of motion as directed by physician orders. Report observations to clinical supervisors, document patient records, and assist with care coordination, discharge planning, and community reintegration activities. Maintain documentation and submit reports as required by Company and facility standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Screened for TB
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
