Job Summary
Provide therapy services planned and supervised by the qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence from the comfort of their homes. Assist in implementing vocational programs, design and adapt equipment, and fabricate devices to improve function and community participation. Deliver therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients and family members regarding home programs and adaptive equipment use while documenting observations and preparing progress reports. Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary team activities to support patient reintegration.
Required Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- TB screening eligibility (required for patient-facing role)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months occupational therapist assistant experience
- Home Health experience
